The large medieval Old Town is something you shouldn't miss, and probably won't, if visiting Tallinn. The city still has a large amount of surviving city walls and old city gates. One of the most famous such gates is called Fat Margaret (Paks Margareeta), located in the Northern part of Old Town, near the memorial to the 1994 M/S Estonia disaster.
