Grand Place is the central square of Brussels and one of the most famous landmarks of the city. The French name translates into "Grand Square". The roots of this grandiose square can be traced back to the 11th-century, however, it was largely destroyed in 1695 and rebuilt again. Grand Place has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998 and is often cited as one of the most beautiful squares in the world!

During my visit, there was a popular annual event called the Zinneke Parade. It was the first time in two years that it was possible to hold this event and the square and streets were packed with people!
