Downtown Los Angeles isn't one of the most famous or popular areas for people visiting Los Angeles and most people probably skip going here completely. It's no surprise and it's not unfair that the area has a bad reputation, however in recent years Downtown has received a huge boost and lots of construction has transformed the area into a more interesting core.

Pershing Square is a central square in Los Angeles and a meeting point for the office workers in the area.
It's a square with modern features, such as the large bell tower in the middle here.
Food trucks line up in the square and they looked very popular.

Another sight in Downtown Los Angeles is the Angel's Flight. The attraction was closed for many years in the 10's due to accidents but is now open again.
Angel's Flight is a short railway, it will only take you up or down a hill spanning one city block.
