I didn't venture so much into Krutenau but it's an area of the city that's worth exploring if you have the time. It's quite similar to Grande Île though so at least for me who was in a bit of time constraint had to prioritze other areas. I did however get some photos of the area.

A typical street scene in Krutenau. It's easy to see the resemblence to Grande Île with all the half-timbered houses.
Rue d'Austerlitz is a pedestrian street with cafés and shops mostly aimed at tourists.

Very close to Krutenau you'll find the main buildings of Strasbourg University. These are however not technically in the Krutenau area of the city.
